NH Senate reauthorizes Medicaid expansion alternative

The New Hampshire Senate today voted to reauthorize the state’s Medicaid expansion alternative, which provides private health coverage to more than 48,000 low-income uninsured residents. The NH House of Representatives approved the bill earlier this month. New Hampshire Hospital Association President Steve Ahnen called the vote “a significant step forward for patients, providers, businesses and our state’s economy.”
