In Alabama, a “Safer at Home” health order remains in place until at least early October 2020. The order encourages Alabamians to act responsibly and help slow the spread of the coronavirus by minimizing travel outside the home and following good sanitation practices, including wearing face coverings in public, disinfecting frequently used items and surfaces, and washing hands often.

To share the latest updates with the community of Montgomery, Jackson Hospital hosts a virtual health library on its website. Visitors can use a drop-down menu to get expert advice and helpful information on a wide variety of health topics. For coronavirus, the virtual health library offers news and health tools on:

  • Myths and facts about COVID-19
  • Considerations for returning to work
  • Do’s and don’ts of cloth face masks
  • Ideas to build positivity during the pandemic
  • Tips to avoid phony COVID-19 claims

Visit the hospital’s virtual library page on COVID-19.
