ChristianaCare is set to expand its health care services in Middletown, Delaware, by constructing a new multidisciplinary health center on its Middletown campus. The new facility aims to increase access to high-quality health care in one of Delaware’s fastest-growing communities. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025, with the center expected to open in early 2027.

The center will offer a variety of services, including primary care, women’s health, behavioral health, oncology, cardiovascular care, imaging, and laboratory services. The design will incorporate state-of-the-art technology and features such as wide windows, open spaces, and walking paths to enhance patient experience and promote well-being.

“Our ChristianaCare Health Center at Middletown will give residents something they currently lack in the area – an integrated location where they can access primary and specialty care, along with other important modalities such as diagnostics and infusions,” said Vinay Maheshwari, M.D., physician executive for the ChristianaCare Medical Group.

The expansion is also expected to create over 70 full-time jobs and reflects ChristianaCare’s commitment to meeting the growing health care needs of the Middletown community.
