Healthy Moms program provides parents with multifaceted supports
Since 1998, Rochester Regional Health’s Healthy Moms program has helped to improve birth outcomes in and around the central New York region. The program supports pregnant and parenting individuals by providing a customized plan of care that can include addressing and removing barriers to care, reducing behavioral health symptoms and increasing health literacy.
Healthy Moms also offers childbirth/pregnancy education, parenting classes, behavioral health treatment, care management, job training, a community food pantry and much more — all under one roof in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Rochester Regional Health’s lifechanging work on behalf of its community was recognized as one of five winners of the AHA’s 2025 Dick Davidson NOVA Award, which honors hospitals and health systems for their collaborative efforts toward improving community health status, whether through health care, economic or social initiatives.
