OhioHealth is expanding their cancer services at Berger Hospital, strengthening access to care for patients in Pickaway County and surrounding communities. The multi-phase project will renovate and grow the OhioHealth Bradley Cancer Center, adding private infusion spaces, expanding pharmacy services and installing a second CT scanner to increase imaging capacity. Hospital leaders say the investment will allow more patients to receive high-quality cancer treatment closer to home while supporting the region’s growing healthcare needs.
The expansion will increase the infusion center from seven treatment spaces to 12 private infusion rooms and create new jobs in nursing, pharmacy and imaging. “As our community grows, so does the need for high-quality cancer care,” said Casey Liddy, president of Berger Hospital. “This investment is the next step in a vision we are building together, one that puts our patients first and keeps exceptional cancer care right here in Pickaway County.” Liddy added, “From advanced mammography to expanded infusion services and imaging, every investment we make is driven by a simple belief: that our neighbors deserve world-class cancer care close to home.”
