Description

Physicians have a natural and deep investment in improved patient outcomes and can impact the broader delivery of care through their involvement with finding the right balance between cost, quality, and outcomes. How better to help drive connection and balance across these domains than connecting health care supply chain professionals who purchase medical and non-medical goods and services with those who use these goods and services in the service of patient care? In 2018, the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) advanced the role of supply chain in supporting clinical integration, and has been promoting the Clinically Integrated Supply Chain (CISC) as an interdisciplinary approach to deliver patient care with the highest value. In this webinar Teresa Dail, AHRMM’s immediate past board chair, and chief supply chain officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center will share how CISC has been implemented and how it has helped to align health care leaders, clinicians, and supply chain professionals with today’s value-based payment models.
