The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host a May 24 call for clinicians on its recommendations for retesting certain children and adults who had venous blood lead tests performed using a Magellan Diagnostics’ LeadCare analyzer. The call will review the recommendations, which patients may be affected, and the importance of lead testing for children and pregnant or lactating women.
