IRF and LTCH quality data preview reports available June 1
Beginning June 1, inpatient rehabilitation facilities and long-term care hospitals will be able to review their quality data for 30 days before it is reported on the IRF Compare and LTCH Compare websites in September, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced today. “Corrections to the underlying data will not be permitted during this time,” the agency said. “However, providers can request a CMS review during the preview period if they believe their data is inaccurate.” The LTCH central line-associated bloodstream infections measure will not be displayed on preview reports due to an error within the calculations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data, CMS said. For details on accessing the preview reports, see the LTCH and IRF instructions.
