Hospitals Against Violence webinar May 31, day of awareness June 9
The AHA’s Hospitals Against Violence initiative will host a May 31 webinar on how hospitals and health systems are using violence intervention programs to combat community violence. Linnea Ashley, managing director of the National Network of Hospital-based Violence Intervention Programs, will describe these hospital-based programs and their benefits. On June 9, hospitals and health systems will encourage their employees, patients and communities to stand together against violence by participating in HAV Hope Friday, a national day of awareness.
