ASHE highlights Legionnaires' disease prevention resources
The AHA’s American Society for Healthcare Engineering affiliate offers several resources to help health care facilities implement water management programs to reduce Legionella bacteria. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week reported at least 85 healthcare-associated cases of Legionnaires’ disease, a serious lung infection, in 2015.
