Arizona hospitals boost state economy
Arizona hospitals contribute nearly $24 billion to the state and local economy and account for nearly 177,000 full-time jobs, according to a new report prepared for the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association by Rounds Consulting Group. “This report makes clear that Arizona hospitals are critical not only to the health of Arizona citizens, but also to the overall health of our state and local economy,” said AzHHA President and CEO Greg Vigdor.
