The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has released final performance feedback for Merit-based Incentive Payment System participants in performance year 2017, which includes their 2017 final score and estimated 2019 payment adjustment. Participants have until Sept. 30 to request a targeted review of their payment adjustment if they believe it includes an error. CMS recommends submitting review requests as soon as possible to ensure that payment adjustments are applied correctly by Jan. 1. For more on the targeted review process, see the targeted review user guide
