Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., will address attendees at the AHA Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 9 during the Federal Forum. The longest-serving Republican Senate leader in history, McConnell will share his legislative priorities for 2019, as well as his thoughts on health care policy as we head toward the 2020 elections. This year's meeting is at the Marriott Marquis in downtown D.C., just minutes from Capitol Hill and the city's main cultural attractions. With the new location comes an updated meeting format that enables attendees to hear from and interact with policymakers, elected officials and newsmakers. In addition, the AHA has created more learning opportunities through new executive insight breakout sessions focusing on innovation and value, health care in rural America, post-acute care, diversity, drug pricing and more.
