As 2019 National Hospital Week approaches with the theme Celebrating Hope and Healing, the AHA invites hospitals and health systems to submit videos or photos highlighting the important role hospitals play in their communities by posting to social media using the #MyHospital hashtag. AHA will share the videos and photos through its social media platforms and Advancing Health in America website during the May 12-18 celebration, when hospital advocates and supporters also are encouraged to change their social media profile image to the blue and white hospital “H.” The AHA has prepared a digital toolkit and other resources to help hospitals commemorate the week, and has a Twitter chat planned for May 16 at 11 a.m. ET.
