Resolution passed by Senate recognizing National Hospital Week
The Senate unanimously passed a bipartisan resolution May 14 recognizing National Hospital Week, which was May 10-16. The resolution was sponsored by Sens. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I.
“The AHA appreciates Senators Barrasso and Whitehouse for leading this bipartisan Senate resolution supporting National Hospital Week,” said Lisa Kidder Hrobsky, AHA senior vice president for advocacy and political affairs. “The hospital field is proud to be recognized for the critical role they serve in providing essential, around-the-clock patient care in communities across America.”
