The Joint Commission has issued a new standards FAQ on monitoring patients at high risk for suicide who have known or suspected COVID-19.

In a separate FAQ , the accrediting agency also said organizations may defer completing performance evaluations for diagnostic computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic when a state of emergency has been declared and the organization has activated its emergency operations plan.
