President uses DPA to facilitate production of ventilators
President Trump today directed the Health and Human Services Secretary, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security, to use Defense Production Act authorities to facilitate the supply of materials to produce ventilators to General Electric Company, Hill-Rom Holdings Inc., Medtronic Public Limited Company, ResMed Inc., Royal Philips N.V., and Vyaire Medical Inc.
