CMS delays emergency care model start date
CMS has delayed the start of its Emergency Triage, Treat, and Transport (ET3) Model from May 1 until fall 2020 as model participants work to respond to the needs of the COVID-19 emergency. CMS recently selected 205 ambulance service providers or suppliers, including some AHA members, to participate in the five-year payment model.
