The AHA today urged the Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve to provide prompt guidance to help hospitals access the Main Street New Loan Facility created by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. Specifically, AHA asked them to clarify the eligibility provisions for non-profit organizations and public hospitals, compensation restrictions, and test for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization.
