The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services this week issued guidance implementing legislative provisions specific to enhanced federal funding for Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program, as well as a new state Medicaid option to cover COVID-19 diagnostic testing and services for the uninsured, as authorized by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.
