The Health Resources and Services Administration April 30 at 2 p.m. ET will host a webinar for health care providers on the agency’s COVID-19 Uninsured Program Portal. Health care providers are eligible for reimbursement from the federal government for COVID-19 testing, treatment and related services provided to the uninsured.

Beginning April 27, providers, including hospitals and health systems, could register to participate with HRSA. This coverage of the uninsured was authorized and funded through the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act.

For more details on the program, see the AHA Special Bulletin.
