HHS releases COVID-19 laboratory data reporting specifications
The Department of Health and Human Services Friday released specifications for reporting certain COVID-19 laboratory data as required by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. Under recent HHS guidance, all COVID-19 testing sites must begin reporting the data by Aug. 1 to state or local health departments for each individual tested to detect SARS-CoV-2 or diagnose COVID-19.
