HHS awards McKesson contract to distribute COVID-19 vaccine
McKesson Corporation will serve as a central distributor of future COVID-19 vaccines and related supplies, the departments of Health and Human Services and Defense announced Friday. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is executing an existing contract option with McKesson to support the vaccine distribution. The company also distributed the H1N1 vaccine during the H1N1 pandemic in 2009-2010.
