The House last night approved an updated version of the Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act that includes $2.2 trillion in additional COVID-19 relief funds.

The bill passed 214-207. The Senate is not expected to take up the measure, with relief funds likely pushed to Congress’ post-election agenda. See the Sept. 29 Special Bulletin on specifics of the Democrats’ package.
