The Health Resources and Services Administration today opened the Provider Relief Fund reporting portal for providers to begin reporting to the government that they used federal emergency relief funds for health care-related expenses or lost revenues attributable to COVID-19. Providers that received PRF payments from April 10, 2020, through June 30, 2020, can now enter the portal and have until Sept. 30, 2021, to submit the required information to HRSA.

Hospitals and other health care providers that received PRF money after June 30, 2020, will need to report on the use of the funds at later dates as outlined in HRSA’s June 11 update on PRF requirements.

In addition, HRSA released for providers a number of new resources on reporting, including a toolkit and fact sheet. HRSA also will host a recorded webcast July 8 at 3 p.m. ET to provide technical assistance on reporting requirements for PRF recipients. Register here to attend.

The AHA June 29 asked Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra to allow providers that received funding prior to June 30, 2020, to use their COVID-19 PRF payments through the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency or, at a minimum, through the end of 2021.
