FDA: Stop using Shanghai Dasheng respirators
Health care providers should stop using N95 respirators made by Shanghai Dasheng Health Products Manufacturing Co. Ltd., which are no longer authorized for emergency use, the Food and Drug Administration announced today. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health revoked all respirator approvals previously issued to Shanghai Dasheng because the company did not implement, maintain and control a quality management system, FDA said.
