The Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care, of which the AHA is a founding member, will launch a new TV ad urging Congress to act now to prevent pending Medicare cuts and ensure hospitals and health systems have the resources they need to care for their patients and communities. In part, the ad says, “As Omicron patients flood hospitals, we face crushing workforce shortages ... putting even more pressure on our front-line workers, and jeopardizing access to care.” The Coalition Feb. 6 will launch the TV ad nationally, followed by digital ads and a social media push from the Coalition’s various channels.
