HHS renews COVID-19 public health emergency for 90 days through October 2022
The Department of Health and Human Services today renewed the COVID-19 public health emergency declaration for another 90 days. The AHA and other national health care organizations have urged HHS to maintain the public health emergency until it’s clear that the global pandemic has receded and the capabilities authorized by the PHE are no longer necessary.
