Illinois’ NorthShore University HealthSystem announces leadership appointments. Jesse Peterson Hall was named as president of NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital; Gabrielle Cummings was promoted to president of NorthShore Highland Park Hospital; and Dave Rahija was promoted to president of NorthShore Skokie Hospital.

Mark Kimball named CEO of Erlanger Murphy Medical Center in Cherokee County, NC. Kimball previously served as chief operating officer for NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN. 

Sam Huenergardt promoted to CEO for Shawnee Mission Health in Merriam, KS, and Mid-America Region CEO for Adventist Health System effective May 28. Currently, Huenergardt is president and CEO of Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO, and he has held leadership roles at multiple Adventist Health System facilities. 

Thomas Huffer, M.D., selected as executive medical director of HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He previously served in various leadership roles at Prevea Health. 

Diane Thompson named chief nursing officer at North Oaks Health System in Hammond, LA. Previously, Thompson worked as a health care consultant with clients such as Kaiser Permanente, Fairview Southdale Hospital in Minnesota and IU Health in Indiana.  

Frank Citara appointed chief operating officer of Hackensack Meridian Health Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, NJ. He joined Bayshore Medical Center in 2015 as senior manager of operations.
