Former hospital administrator at Lakeside Hospital in Cleveland and the 1919 AHA chief elected officer, Dr. Warner serves as AHA CEO until his death in 1924. At the Association, he emphasized member service, starting a bulletin and the first service bureaus for members, which provided assistance on dispensaries (outpatient clinics) and community relations.
