AHA president, health system leaders participate in White House announcement of hospital-led initiative to distribute ventilators to high-need areas
AHA yesterday joined hospital and health system leaders at a White House event to announce the Dynamic Ventilator Reserve, a public-private online initiative to track and help distribute available ventilators and associated supplies to high-need areas of the country. "We appreciate the work of the administration in helping us find innovative solutions to ensure the best care for our patients," said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack. "We'll continue to work with hospitals and health systems across the country to add to this reserve further." For more details on the initiative, see yesterday's AHA Special Bulletin.
