The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will provide an update on ICD-10 implementation during a National Provider Call Aug. 27 at 2:30 p.m. ET. Experts from the AHA and American Health Information Management Association also will offer coding guidance and tips during the call. To register, click here. Health care claims must include ICD-10 codes for medical diagnoses and inpatient hospital procedures beginning Oct. 1.
