AHA board member receives national health care award
Marna Borgstom, CEO of Yale New Haven Health and a member of AHA’s Board of Trustees, yesterday received the 2020 Charles S. Lauer National Healthcare Award from B’nai B’rith International for her “dedication to community service, excellence in leadership and outstanding philanthropic commitment in the health care community and beyond.” In remarks for a virtual event in her honor, AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack said, “Marna understands that meaningful progress comes from being a steady and persistent force for progress. And, she’s done just that when it comes to improving quality, promoting diversity and inclusion, supporting medical research, and training the next generation of health care professionals.”
