Dignity Health Global Education is partnering with CommonSpirit to create a scholarship program to tackle a lack of diversity in health care. The Equity Impact is intended to “level the playing field and open doors to job opportunities, promotions, higher compensation, and leadership positions,” according to the organizations, through the distribution of $3 million to health care workers interested in developing their skills, knowledge and expertise through skills-based education and training.
