Reminder: Hospital COVID-19 data reporting moves to CDC network Dec. 15
On Dec. 15, the Department of Health and Human Services will stop collecting hospitals’ COVID-19 data through the TeleTracking portal and begin collecting the data through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Healthcare Safety Network. According to HHS, there are no substantive changes to the reporting questions that hospitals are asked to submit, and hospitals and states can use the NHSN COVID-19 module to test their data reporting capability before the transition. For more information, visit the transition webpage or email the NHSN Help Desk at nhsn@cdc.gov, noting “COVID-19 hospital” in the subject line.
