The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services yesterday released FAQs on COVID-19 coverage after the public health emergency ends. Developed by the departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and the Treasury, the FAQs address COVID-19 diagnostic testing, vaccines and preventive services; and the timeframes to complete certain employee benefit elections or other actions, including after losing Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program eligibility. For additional tips to help someone losing Medicaid or CHIP coverage, see this CMS fact sheet.
