N.C. hospital leader to receive AHA Rural Hospital Leadership Award
The AHA will present its 2018 Rural Hospital Leadership Award to Ronnie Sloan, president of The Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head, N.C., at its Rural Health Care Leadership Conference in February. AHA also will honor award finalist Jeff Tindle, CEO of Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Mo. The award recognizes small or rural hospital leaders who guide their organization and community through transformational change, and display outstanding leadership and commitment to improving health and health coverage and making care more affordable.
