Beacon Health System’s Benefiting Area Babies Equally (B.A.B.E.) program is helping families build healthy foundations for their children by turning positive parenting actions into tangible rewards. The initiative allows expectant parents and caregivers to earn B.A.B.E. coupons by attending prenatal appointments, participating in parenting classes and completing other activities that support child development and family well-being. The coupons can then be redeemed at B.A.B.E. stores within the health system for essential items such as diapers, safety products and other necessities — removing barriers for families while encouraging healthy habits.
The program also offers ongoing classes and partnerships with healthcare providers and social service agencies to further extend its impact. By combining education, encouragement and practical support, the B.A.B.E. program helps boost confidence and self-esteem for parents while creating stronger starts for babies across the community.
