Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has partnered with GamFin, a national nonprofit focused on financial recovery from problem gambling, to offer free, confidential financial counseling to Laramie County residents harmed by problem gambling. The partnership is an extension of CRMC’s community wellness mission, providing residents access to certified counselors who help address challenges such as debt, damaged credit, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.

“When residents face a financial crisis related to problem gambling, we want to connect them with the tools and support they need to rebuild,” said CRMC’s Community Prevention Project Director, Brittany Wardle. “This partnership reflects our ongoing investment in the health and resilience of every family in our community.”

Eligible residents can receive one-on-one counseling, personalized debt and credit recovery plans, household budgeting assistance, and referrals to mental health and addiction recovery services. Support is available in person, by phone, and through telehealth, with strict confidentiality guaranteed.
