MBFA urges Senate & House leaders to maintain tax-exempt status for municipal bonds

The Municipal Bonds for America (MBFA) Coalition urges Congress to maintain the current-law tax exemption for most municipal bonds, but urges Congress to oppose provisions in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that would eliminate the tax exemption for private activity bonds and advance refunding bonds.
