CMS issues FAQ on hospital reporting of public health EHR measure
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has posted a Frequently Asked Question clarifying what hospitals participating in the Medicare Electronic Health Records Incentive Program must do to meet the public health objective, particularly the specialized registry measure for eligible professions they support. This is one of several FAQs on the public health measures for meaningful use of EHRs. For more on the specialized registry reporting requirement, see CMS FAQs 13653 and 13657.
