The Institute for Diversity in Health Management, an AHA affiliate, has named five new directors to two-year terms on its board. They are: Stephen Adkins, principal chief of the Chickahominy Tribe and chief deputy director of the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management; Peggy Harris, assistant vice president of diversity and inclusion for Charlotte, NC-based Carolinas HealthCare System; Ramanathan Raju, M.D., senior vice president and community health officer for Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, NY; John Vassall II, M.D., chief medical officer for Seattle-based Swedish health system; and Kimberlydawn Wisdom, M.D., senior vice president of community health and equity and chief wellness and diversity officer for Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System. Ninfa Saunders, president and CEO of Navicent Health, will continue to serve as board chairperson through 2017.
