The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has extended the deadline for submitting assessment measure data to the skilled nursing facility quality reporting program for the first three quarters of calendar year 2017 so it can correct technical issues with the current Review and Correct Reports. The new data submission deadline is May 15, 2018, the same as for the fourth-quarter data. CMS also will apply the new deadline to all four quarters when determining annual payment updates for fiscal year 2019. The agency expects to correct the reports by early September.
