A new AHA ad running this week on Radio America and next week on ABC and CBS radio highlights the need for Congress and the Administration to immediately distribute COVID-19 Provider Relief Fund and other resources, and for Congress to halt imminent Medicare cuts that could further destabilize hospitals as they care for patients and communities.

“Our health care workforce has stood on the front lines against the COVID-19 pandemic…going full throttle for over two years,” explains AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack in the ad. “And, they continue to face a crushing workload in caring for COVID patients — and other emergencies — as well as providing regular services. That’s why we need additional and immediate help to support our caregivers in providing critical lifesaving care to our patients.”
