AHA leader, others share perspectives on climate change
The National Academy of Medicine’s Action Collaborative on Decarbonizing the U.S. Health Sector this week launched Health Care Leaders Speak Out on Climate Change, a video series featuring perspectives from health care leaders involved in the collaborative, including AHA Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Michelle Hood. Hood serves on the steering committee for the collaborative, a public-private partnership committed to addressing the sector’s environmental impact while strengthening its sustainability and resilience.
