AHA presents Carolyn Boone Lewis Equity of Care, Circle of Life awards
The AHA July 17 presented its 2023 Carolyn Boone Lewis Equity of Care Award to Meritus Health in Hagerstown, Md.; Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.; and Rapid City (S.D.) Hospital (Monument Health) for their outstanding efforts to advance diversity, inclusion and health equity.
The association also presented 2023 Circle of Life Awards to Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore and the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka, Ind., for their innovative efforts in palliative and end-of-life care. Prospero Health in Boston received a Citation of Honor.
