AHA files amicus brief defending Kansas law related to 340B contract pharmacy arrangements
The AHA Nov. 7 filed a friend-of-the-court brief in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas in defense of the state's law protecting against deceptive acts or practices related to 340B pricing for contract pharmacy arrangements.
The AHA has filed similar briefs in multiple states, including most recently in Minnesota, Missouri and West Virginia.
Comparable laws have been upheld in Louisiana and Maryland.
Joining the AHA in the Nov. 7 filing were 340B Health, the Kansas Hospital Association, the Community Care Network of Kansas and the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists.
