White House releases Global Health Security Strategy

The White House yesterday released a strategy to guide the federal government in protecting the nation from infectious disease threats by working with other nations and stakeholders. The administration said the Global Health Security Strategy supports its National Security Strategy and National Biodefense Strategy, and further describes how the government will prevent, detect and respond to infectious disease threats globally and domestically.
