AHA resource spotlights efforts to address social needs and health inequity during COVID-19
A new AHA resource examines the impact of the social determinants of health on patients and communities as they battle the COVID-19 outbreak.
The resource shares ideas and case examples to help hospitals address ongoing social needs, while looking at unconscious bias, housing, food and the importance of screening and documenting social needs.
