The AHA today launched a new video, Just the Facts, offering a simple, but stark look at the reality of the numbers of children getting infected, hospitalized and dying from COVID-19. For example, COVID-19-associated hospitalization rates in children aged 5-11 years were twice as high among unvaccinated as among vaccinated children, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The video is available in English and Spanish. The videos are part of AHA’s continuing effort to encourage vaccine confidence; see all resources.
